The 70,000-capacity solar-powered poultry farm is the livestock component of SAO Agro's solar-powered commercial farm estate located in Ore, Ondo State. It houses poultry pens with a processing capacity of (100,000 birds/quarter and over 500,000/annum), and high processing lines with 1200 birds per hour(BPH) processing equipment to ensure optimal production.

At the centre of empowering Nigeria’s agricultural landscape is our sustainable approach to livestock production which adheres to International Standards Operating (ISO) procedures end-to-end. Also, the solar-powered poultry infrastructure ensures eco-friendly optimization of yields and top-quality poultry products.

Our ever-increasing capacity broiler farm is evolving into the country’s largest broiler processing facility, and we are on track to process 30,000 chickens daily. The social impact of this increase will further drive improved lives through human capital development and the empowerment of farmers.
