In January 2023, SEO Energy extended its strides to ensure sustainable energy solutions across healthcare facilities in Nigeria by partnering with Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Foundation to deliver a state-of-the-art 60KVA smart solar inverter system and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in The Dialysis Center at the University College Hospital of Ibadan. This marks the largest hybrid solar installation in the teaching hospital.

With a runtime of 10 hours on full load and 15 hours on light load, this design enables the system to function in a dual mode, ensuring that any surplus power generated by the panels is directed to the load while the battery receives its designated power for efficient charging. The solar PV array was engineered to produce 36,000Wp under peak irradiance. 

Since this installation after two weeks of material deployment, installation, and testing, hemodialysis procedures have been carried out seamlessly for thousands of citizens. The  Hemodialysis centre, staff areas, and the surrounding community have also benefited from stable, clean, and reliable energy.
