Access to clean water is a fundamental pillar of public health, and in Ekiti State, SAO Energy has cemented this foundation for eight Basic Healthcare Centres. The company has completed the installation of 9.6kW solar-powered borehole systems, ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply that is critical for hygiene, patient care, and a healthier community.

Each of these healthcare facilities is now equipped with a 1hp (1100W/96V DC) submersible pump and six 200W monocrystalline solar panels. This setup allows the clinics to have clean water on demand, without the need for unreliable grid power or expensive diesel generators.

By eliminating water-related disruptions, this intervention directly improves clinical operations, patient care, and service delivery for healthcare workers and the rural communities they serve.
