SAO Energy

Ondo State Government

Ondo State, Nigeria

Efforts towards reducing and eradicating inadequacies in the health sector due to the absence and shortage of power were further boosted through this private-public collaboration involving SAO Energy, Ondo State Health Scheme, and The World Bank Group.

The deployment and installation of three distinct hybrid solar systems ranging from  10kW to 100kW with storage capacities, and charge controllers, across 3 General Hospitals in Ondo State have improved the well-being and saved the lives of thousands of Ondo residents as downtime in medical equipment such as ventilators, incubators, suction units and dialysis machines, to mention a few due to power shortages has been forestalled.

The General Hospitals that benefited from the successful distinct hybrid solar system installations include:

  • General Hospital Ore - 10kW Solar Hybrid Inverter System
  • General Hospital Igbokoda - 10kW Solar Hybrid Inverter System
  • General Hospital Ileoluji - 10kW Solar Hybrid Inverter System

Post-COVID-19, SAO Energy has continued in its strides to improve healthcare delivery by providing amenities in general hospitals across various rural communities across Africa.
