Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, and Delta
SAO Energy completed a project to deliver reliable power to Primary Healthcare Centres in four states: Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, and Delta. This initiative has equipped these facilities to operate efficiently without the frequent disruptions caused by power outages.
The project involved installing a total of 8 units of 10.2kVA hybrid inverters, 160 units of 600Wp monocrystalline solar panels, and 16 15kWh lithium-ion batteries. This system generates 60kWp of clean energy, supported by battery storage for uninterrupted daily power.
This solar installation has replaced diesel generators, leading to a significant reduction in operational expenses for the healthcare centers. Additionally, it contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing annual CO₂ emissions by 122,640 tons of CO₂.
