Ondo State, Nigeria
Leveraging our experience and expertise in energy infrastructure, coupled with ample government support, SAO Energy has partnered with the Ondo State Government to bring energy supply to primary health care centres in the state. This initiative is also about empowering communities, fostering sustainable development and improving healthcare access across the local communities.
Following the documentation, implementation, and analysis of a comprehensive survey and energy audit, SAO Energy assessed the energy needs and operational requirements of each centre. We have reached a milestone to enhance healthcare infrastructure and energy access covering a vast network of 2,175 Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities across 18 local government areas in Ondo State. This project utilises solar panels and batteries and will also serve as the power base and a source of water generation for a hundred (100) households close to the PHCs.
This collaboration reinforces our commitment to enhance access to reliable energy solutions and eradicate inadequacies in the power supply of critical sectors like healthcare.
